An Evening With Michael Punke
The Scottsbluff Public Library Foundation is hosting An Evening With Micheal Punke here are the Historic Midwest Theater. Punke is the Author of Ridgeline, Fire and Brimstone: The North Butte Mining Disaster of 1917, and The Revenant: A Novel of Revenge.
This informative and engaging evening starts at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails. The Author Presentation will start at 7:00 p.m.
Before spending an evening with Michael Punke, you can spend an early evening watching the Academy Awarding winning adaptation of his book, The Revenant. Sunday, October 20th at 4:30 p.m. Admission is FREE with purchase of tickets for the Thursday, October 24th event. You will also be able to purchase tickets for Thursday’s event before the movie.
The Revenant stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a frontiersman who struggles for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by his party. Winner of three Academy Awards for Best Actor (DiCaprio), Best Director (Alejandro G. Iñárritu) and Best Cinematography (Emmanuel Lubezki)
