House of Wax (2005) – 20th Anniversary
Movies Under the Full Moon brings a spooky movie to the Historically Haunted Midwest Theater while the light of the full moon shines down upon the marquee. May’s movie is the early 2000’s remake of the Vincent Price classic – House of Wax.
On a road trip, six friends find themselves stranded by the small town of Ambrose. When two of them walk into town for help they find it strangely desolate. The only place that seems to be open is a Wax Museum. Inside they find that the wax figures are extremely life like. They discover the reason is because beneath the wax the people were once alive. The six friends find themselves fighting for their lives against the mad waxworks maker who wants to use them to make more exhibits for his museum. Will any of them make it out alive or will they become permanent residents?
