The Wizard of OZ – 85th Anniversary
The timeless classic book from Frank L. Balm comes to life with the equally timeless classic movie adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, celebrating its 85th Anniversary! It’s the story of a Young Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto, who get swept away by a tornado from their Kansas farm to the magical Land of Oz! They embark on a quest to the Emerald City to see the wonderful Wizard of Oz, who can return her home. Along the way, she makes an enemy of the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkeys. She also makes three new friends, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. They go with Dorothy in hopes that the Wizard can grant their wishes also. Once they reach the Wizard he sends them on another quest to get the broom from the Wicked Witch. Dorothy’s time in Oz is filled with adventure, magic, friendship, and all the songs you remember like – “Follow the Yellow Brick Road’, “We’re off to see the Wizard”, & “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”!
