Join the community of Nebraska, as we explore the state of news media in our society and how it relates to American democracy. “An Issue of Trust” is a body of local, regional, and Pulitzer voices representing a variety of perspectives and prompting community conversations across the state. Events will be held in Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, and Scottsbluff/ Gering.

An Issue of Trust: Democracy and the Future of Journalism is presented by Humanities Nebraska in partnership wit the Federation State Humanities Councils, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and The Pulitzer Prizes. Funding also provided by the James & Rhonda Seacrest Foundation and the Johnny Carson Fund at the Nebraska Cultural endowment. Statewide Partners include NET, the Nebraska Press Association, and the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
